In accordance with a special directive of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, visits were made to project sites being implemented in the city this year with the aim of developing the tourism sector, studying tourism facilities and locations in the regions, addressing existing issues, and improving tourism infrastructure.
In particular, a hotel project implemented by "KAZ DEVELOPMENT INVEST GROUP" LLC (MCHJ), which is part of the world-leading international hotel chain Accor, was reviewed. It was noted that this project will contribute to enhancing Khiva’s tourism potential, increasing international tourist flows, and aligning service quality with global standards.
In addition, initial plans and concepts of the “Hunarmandlar Markazi” (Craftsmen Center) project planned in the Mevaston neighborhood were discussed. Special attention was given to the comprehensive development of the area, support for national handicrafts, and the creation of a new tourist destination.
