Legal awareness event held in Khiva schools as part of the “16 Days Against Violence” campaign

Captain M. Rejabova, Senior Inspector for Women’s Issues at Khiva City Department of Internal Affairs, together with L. Atajanova, Head of the City Spirituality Department, organized an awareness-raising event under the slogan “16 Days Against Violence” for high school students of School No. 21 in Angarik mahalla.
During the event, the essence of the laws “On Guarantees of Equal Rights and Opportunities for Women and Men” and “On Protection of Women from Harassment and Violence” was explained in detail. Students received practical information on preventing violence, legal protection mechanisms, and the procedure for seeking help. At the end of the event, thematic booklets were distributed and awareness videos were shown.
