It is no secret to anyone that excessive wastefulness, ostentatious luxury, vanity, and disregard for moderation are increasingly spreading in our society today. In particular, the excessively lavish conduct of family celebrations, weddings, and ceremonies harms the socio-economic interests of the population and creates attitudes contrary to our national values.
In this regard, an open dialogue was organized today with the participation of city activists, respected elders, and mahalla representatives on the topic of regulating weddings and ceremonies.
During the meeting, proposals and opinions were expressed regarding increasing the social responsibility of the population, preserving national values, and widely promoting the culture of moderation (maromiylik).
