Dear participants, dear guests!
In Uzbekistan, under the leadership of our esteemed President Mirziyoyev, a democratic, open, and just society - a New Uzbekistan - is being built, where the main criterion is the glorification of human dignity.
As a result of the practical implementation of the principle "Central Asia - the main priority in the foreign policy of Uzbekistan," a completely new political atmosphere has been created in the region, and relations based on mutual trust and good neighborliness are being strengthened.
Turkey, which was the first to recognize the independence of Uzbekistan, is our time-tested reliable partner. In recent years, the relations of comprehensive strategic partnership have been deepening thanks to the active political dialogue and firm political will of the Heads of our states.
Ties are developing dynamically at all levels - between parliaments, ministries and agencies, regions and companies.
It is gratifying that trade, economic, and investment cooperation has gained a completely new momentum.

The ratification of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, the Beijing Platform for Action, and other international legal documents and 20 conventions serves as an important legal and institutional basis for Uzbekistan.
The President of our country, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, created a national model of Uzbekistan, aimed at expanding the rights and interests of women and ensuring the well-being of families.
Over the past 7 years, about 100 regulatory legal acts have been adopted in our country aimed at protecting the rights and legitimate interests of women.
In the Republic of Uzbekistan, important work is being carried out to ensure the rights and protection of children and their families, especially those with disabilities, those in difficult life situations, as well as other socially vulnerable categories.
For reference: To date, the population of the country
More than 35% (13 million) are children under 18 years of age, of which 347 thousand children are in need of social protection, as well as 44 thousand children living abroad.
At the initiative of the President, the issue of children has been elevated to the level of state policy, and the guarantees of children's rights have been enshrined in a separate chapter of the Constitution.
In 2023-2025, more than 50 by-laws on children's issues were adopted.
Previously, social protection services for children were carried out by 6 institutions.
Through the "Inson" district social service centers and social sector employees at the mahalla level, 100 types of social services are provided to more than 100 thousand people.
In order to provide social assistance to families and children
In the period from 2023 to 2025, the following work was carried out:
A) Over the past year, the coverage of children with disabilities with educational services increased from 70% to 7.4%, and next academic year it is planned to increase it to 82%.
Currently, out of more than 38 thousand (6.9 thousand state, 31.1 thousand non-state) preschool educational organizations, 77% (2.3 million) cover 3.1 million children aged 3-7 years and 96.0%
Children aged 6 years.
For reference: in 2017, preschool education coverage was only 27%.
In the republic, in 947, 1800 children studied in inclusive classes in general education schools.
C) A pilot project has been launched to cover transportation costs for families with disabilities to attend children's educational institutions.
b) Coverage of children from low-income families with preschool education is envisaged, up to 80 percent (by covering monthly payments), social and economic assistance is provided to families, and the possibility of providing their families with decent work is being created.
More than 175 thousand families are diagnosed with disability. children, their full integration into society is ensured by providing them with various social services.
Work is underway to develop forms of providing social services to families and placing children left without parental care in families.
