The Ministry of Justice has registered the List of Medical Indications for Performing a Cesarean Section in Childbirth (Registration No. 3945, September 28, 2026).

Specifically, according to this document:
⚫️ medical indications for a cesarean section are applied during childbirth delivery in both public and private medical institutions;
⚫️ there are 31 medical indications defined for performing a cesarean section;
⚫️ cesarean section procedures are classified into emergent, urgent, scheduled, and elective categories;
⚫️ in the absence of medical indications, a pregnant woman retains the right to choose to undergo a cesarean section;
⚫️ when performing a cesarean section, the pregnant woman is informed of potential adverse outcomes, and her voluntary informed consent is obtained.
