Committee of Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan

In connection with the commission of harassment and violence stipulated by the Law "On the Protection of Women from Harassment and Violence":

🔹 victims of harassment and violence who apply to inquiry bodies, preliminary investigation bodies, or courts are established to have the right to receive legal aid at the expense of the state.

📄 Free legal aid at the expense of the state is provided to women who are victims of harassment and violence, as well as their minor children, for cases concerning:

✅ recovery of alimony;

✅ recovery of additional expenses for child support;

✅ moving into residential premises, termination of the right to use residential premises, and eviction;

✅ establishment of paternity or deprivation of parental rights;

✅ determination of the child's place of residence;

✅ establishment of the procedure for communication with the child;

✅ dissolution of marriage;

✅ division of property;

✅ reclamation of property from another party's unlawful possession;

✅ compensation for damage caused to property;

✅ reinstatement to work;

✅ recovery of wages.

This Law enters into force from the date of its official publication.
