In order to enhance the genetic potential of livestock, large-scale cooperation with China will be established in the fields of artificial insemination, embryo transplantation, and the exchange of genetic resources. In addition, the number of pedigree cattle imported from China to Uzbekistan will be increased.
This was announced at the 26th International Livestock Exhibition being held in China.
According to agreements reached within the framework of the exhibition, joint ventures and laboratories will be established for the production of feed products and feed additives, as well as for the production and testing of veterinary medicines, vaccines, and biological products.
Scientific and practical cooperation will also be launched on the cultivation of high-yield and low-water-demand feed crops adapted to the natural and climatic conditions of our country, including desert and arid regions.
Employees of the veterinary system and livestock industry specialists will undergo advanced training at leading livestock farms, research institutions, and processing enterprises in China.
Advanced technologies for digital monitoring of animal nutrition and health will be introduced, and a system for exchanging experience in biotechnology and veterinary supervision will be developed.
In addition, milk and meat processing enterprises will be established through joint cooperation.
