As previously reported, A.Sadikov, director of the National anti-doping agency of Uzbekistan, is participating in the XIV International HIV Forum held in Russia.
During the forum session entitled “The Global Anti-Doping System: Development Trends and New Challenges,” A. Sadikov delivered a presentation and provided information on the work being carried out in Uzbekistan to combat doping, the results achieved, and future priorities.
Today, the effectiveness of the anti-doping system is closely linked not only to the organization of doping control but also to improving athletes’ and coaches’ legal awareness, strengthening preventive measures, and implementing international standards in national practice. From this perspective, presenting national experience on the international stage and discussing current issues in the field are of great importance.
International forums serve as important platforms for dialogue, enabling anti-doping organizations to exchange experience, strengthen cooperation, and promote the principles of fair competition in sport. The participation of representatives of Uzbekistan in such events contributes to further improving the national anti-doping system and developing international cooperation.
