The 20th Summer Asian Games, currently underway in Japan, are entering a decisive stage as one of the continent’s largest sporting events. Uzbekistan is participating with the largest delegation in the country’s history, with 396 athletes competing across 42 sports.
As of 28 September, Uzbek athletes have won a total of 41 medals. This result places Uzbekistan 4th in the overall team standings.
Importantly, the Games are not yet over. A number of significant competitions still lie ahead for the athletes. Therefore, today’s results are not the final figures, but rather a reflection of Uzbekistan’s current performance at Aichi–Nagoya 2026. The official competition programme includes a total of 43 sports, with events continuing until 4 October.
Behind every competition involving Uzbek athletes lies not only the result, but also years of hard work, training, and great responsibility. Each medal won demonstrates that the country’s athletes are consistently working towards the goals they have set for themselves.
Aichi–Nagoya 2026 is still underway. New starts, new opportunities, and new medal contests await the Uzbekistan national team. We wish each of our athletes a strong performance, fair victories, and outstanding results.
