Aichi–Nagoya 2026: preventive anti-doping seminar organized for cyclists

The National Anti-Doping Agency of Uzbekistan organized a seminar for athletes of the Cycling Federation ahead of the Asian Games.
During the seminar, particular attention was given to athletes’ rights and responsibilities, the doping control process, prohibited substances and methods, as well as the importance of exercising caution when using medications lawfully. In particular, it was emphasized that before taking any medication or other preparation prior to competitions, athletes should determine whether it is safe from an anti-doping perspective.
Such seminars contribute to increasing athletes’ anti-doping awareness, preventing anti-doping rule violations, and ensuring that they represent Uzbekistan with honour and integrity on the international stage through fair competition.
