The National antidoping agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The National Anti-Doping Agency of Uzbekistan places particular emphasis on developing international cooperation, enhancing the knowledge of our athletes and specialists, and regularly organizes practical seminars. The latest high-profile event was organized through the cooperation of the Ministry of Sports, the National Anti-Doping Agency, the International Testing Agency, and the Uzbekistan Weightlifting Federation. Such joint initiatives represent another important step towards strengthening the anti-doping culture in our country and introducing international standards.

The upcoming international anti-doping seminar will be conducted with the participation of International Testing Agency (ITA) expert Riley MasGovn and specialists from the National Anti-Doping Agency of Uzbekistan.

Joint presentations by international and local experts enabled participants to receive first-hand information on the latest developments and requirements in the field. During the event, participants gained a deeper understanding of the most important rules and procedures in the world of sport. As part of the programme, important presentations and practical recommendations will be provided on such topical issues as anti-doping rules and their requirements, procedures for ensuring the transparent and proper organization of the doping control process, athletes’ rights and responsibilities, working with the Prohibited List of substances and methods, and the procedure for obtaining a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE).

Doping not only poses a serious threat to an athlete’s health but also leaves a lasting stain on their entire sporting career. Therefore, every athlete, coach, and specialist must have comprehensive knowledge in this area.
