Precision on target, responsibility in every decision: anti-doping seminar held for shooting athletes

The National Anti-Doping Agency of Uzbekistan organized another preventive anti-doping seminar for athletes and coaches of the national shooting team currently preparing for the Aichi–Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.
It was emphasized that, just as every decision made by an athlete in this sport—which requires exceptional concentration, mental stability, and precision—can influence the outcome of a competition, every decision regarding the use of medications is equally important for an athlete’s sporting career.
During the seminar, participants received comprehensive information on the latest amendments to the WADA Code, athletes’ rights and responsibilities, and the procedures for the lawful use of prohibited medications when medically necessary through obtaining a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) in accordance with the applicable regulations.
