A Test Examination Was Conducted to Assess and Certify Proficiency in Uzbek as a Foreign Language

On October 2, 2026, the Scientific and Educational Practical Center under the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Competencies organized a qualification certification examination in Uzbek on the electronic platform “Uzbek language proficiency examination for foreign citizens.”
The examination was attended by students from neighboring countries who are studying in Uzbekistan.
The examination was conducted online at A1, A2, and B1 levels in accordance with the CEFR criteria. The following language skills are assessed based on the CEFR framework:
- Listening
- Reading
- Writing
- Speaking
The main purpose of the examination is to determine participants’ level of Uzbek language proficiency based on international standards and to ensure objective and transparent assessment of their language skills.
