In recent days, various assumptions have been expressed on social networks and in some internet publications that test questions related to the national certificate exams in history may have been leaked in advance.
Regarding this situation, the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Competences reports the following:
The national certificate exams in history were organized in multiple shifts based on a comprehensive test database. The Agency has taken all organizational and technical security measures to ensure the confidentiality of test questions.
The test results of the national certificate exams are calculated based on an international methodology — the Rasch model. At the same time, a statistical analysis of the exam results is carried out in accordance with classical and modern test theories.
In the statistical analysis of the results of the national certificate exams in history, no cases of violation of testology norms or a sharp deviation of the distribution from the normal distribution were detected.
In international practice, the final conclusion on such situations is also made based on the results of official investigations and statistical analysis.
The Agency considers ensuring fairness and transparency in testing as its priority task and declares its openness to considering any justified appeals related to its activities.
Furthermore, in the event of concrete evidence of the illegal distribution or sale of test materials, we request that they be submitted to law enforcement agencies, and in the absence of concrete evidence, not to create a false impression among the public through unfounded assumptions.
