The Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Competences provides the following clarification:

📍 In the Republic of Uzbekistan, the recognition of diplomas issued by foreign states is carried out in accordance with the Law “On Education” and the Regulation on the Procedure for Recognizing Documents on Education Obtained Abroad, approved by Resolution No. 620 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated 24 July 2019. This Regulation defines the categories of foreign educational documents that may be recognized directly within the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

❌ It should be emphasized that the above-mentioned claims are baseless. At present, there is no international agreement on the mutual recognition of diplomas among Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan. In these countries, the recognition of foreign educational documents is carried out in accordance with the requirements established by their national legislation.
