ADDRESS TO THE PUBLIC BY LIEUTENANT COLONEL U. ESHANOV, HEAD OF THE UYCHI DISTRICT DEPARTMENT OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS

Dear residents of Uychi District, dear fellow citizens,
Today, the world is developing at a rapid pace. Almost every household owns a vehicle, and the number of vehicles on our roads is increasing every day. Unfortunately, along with this growth, carelessness is also increasing. A lack of driving culture and negligence are causing tragic road accidents that destroy families and claim innocent lives.
Most regrettably, several road traffic accidents have occurred in our district, resulting in serious injuries and the deaths of four people. These tragic incidents are mainly caused by drivers who lack proper driving culture and fail to comply with traffic regulations.
Another major factor contributing to road traffic accidents is the uncontrolled increase in the use of scooters and other light electric vehicles. Unfortunately, many of their users do not possess a valid driver's license, have insufficient knowledge of traffic rules, and fail to observe basic safety requirements.
Even more concerning is the fact that some parents purchase these vehicles for their children despite being fully aware of the dangers they pose to their lives and health. This puts not only their own children but also other road users at serious risk.
Dear Parents!
A moment of happiness for your child should never be more important than their future or their life. Every parent is responsible for ensuring the safety of their children. Obeying traffic laws, complying with legal requirements, and never allowing minors or unqualified individuals to operate vehicles is a civic duty that belongs to all of us.
Please remember:
Speed is not worth saving a few minutes if it may cost an entire lifetime.
Your parents, children, and spouse are waiting for you at home. No phone call, no urgency, and no destination is more valuable than a human life.
Therefore, we strongly urge all drivers to:
- Strictly obey all traffic regulations;
- Never exceed the speed limit;
- Never use a mobile phone while driving;
- Always wear a seat belt;
- Never drive into the opposite lane;
- Always show respect to pedestrians.
Driving under the influence of alcohol is not only against the law but also puts your own life and the lives of others at serious risk.
A single irresponsible decision can lead to a devastating traffic accident, permanent disability, or the loss of human life.
Remember: Never drive under the influence of alcohol. Protect life and always obey traffic regulations.
Furthermore, just recently, a serious tragedy occurred during a wedding motorcade. Dangerous driving and reckless stunts performed in disregard of traffic laws resulted in the untimely death of a young woman in our district.
A few seconds of showing off are never worth a human life. Let the joy of a wedding continue in a happy family life—not on the road. Follow traffic rules and protect both your own life and the lives of others.
If every road user understands and fulfills their responsibility, many tragedies can be prevented. The road is not a place to test your courage. A single moment of carelessness can leave lifelong regret.
Protect life. Obey the rules. Take care of yourself and your loved ones.
Lieutenant Colonel U.A. Eshanov
Head of the Uychi District Department of Internal Affairs
