The main goal of the training was to broadly promote methods for resolving grievances between the population and employees, ensuring the safety of tractors acquired under the project, and using them without harming the environment.

During the seminar, which was attended by responsible employees of the Syrdarya forestry enterprise and representatives of the population living near the forest areas, information was provided on the procedures and timelines for resolving complaints from residents of areas where the project will be implemented.

In addition, explanations were given on accepting complaints by phone, orally, anonymously via social networks, or in writing through complaint boxes; the stages of resolving them; and mechanisms for receiving and addressing gender-based grievances.

Furthermore, comprehensive information was provided on ensuring environmental and social safety in forestry enterprises, including sanitary norms based on legislation during the acceptance of purchased equipment, the size requirements for garages where they will be stored, labor protection, environmental requirements, oil replacement procedures, atmospheric protection, and the international standards of the World Bank.

At the end, detailed answers were given to participants' questions on the topic. Similar seminar-trainings are planned to be organized in other districts where the project is being implemented.
