Agency for increasing forests and green areas and combating desertification

The seminar was attended by representatives of the district administration, staff of the district Ecology and Emergency Situations Departments, forestry specialists, as well as representatives of the district water supply joint-stock company.

During the seminar, particular emphasis was placed on the coordinated organization of project activities, planting tree and shrub species adapted to local climatic conditions, and increasing public participation in the autumn tree planting campaign.

Importantly, these activities will contribute to expanding green spaces in the district, preserving biodiversity, strengthening climate resilience, improving the environmental situation, and enhancing air quality.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the responsible officials were given relevant instructions and recommendations on effectively organizing greening activities across the district, ensuring regular maintenance of planted trees, and establishing continuous monitoring in this area.
