Agency for Increasing Forests and Green Areas and Combating Desertification

The event was attended by representatives of the district administration, staff of the district departments of Ecology and Climate Change, Emergency Situations and Internal Affairs, the forestry working group, as well as representatives of the district Medical Association and the regional Electric Networks Enterprise.

During the exercises, practical demonstrations were conducted on extinguishing emergency fires in forest areas, the proper use of primary firefighting equipment, the organization of rapid information exchange and operational management, and the provision of medical assistance to injured persons.

In addition, the readiness of specialized firefighting vehicles and equipment was assessed, and coordination and cooperation mechanisms between the relevant services were put into practice.

At the conclusion of the event, the responsible officials analyzed the participants’ actions and provided relevant recommendations and instructions on addressing identified shortcomings and ensuring fire safety in forest areas.
