Agency for Increasing Forests and Green Areas and Combating Desertification

The event brought together forestry experts and media representatives from Uzbekistan, China, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and the Kyrgyz Republic.

The seminar focused on key issues including combating desertification, preventing soil erosion, restoring degraded lands, conserving biodiversity, and protecting soil and water resources.

Participants also highlighted the importance of implementing promising projects aimed at introducing highly efficient water-saving smart irrigation systems, assessing soil salinity levels, and gradually improving the biological condition of land.

As part of the seminar, an exhibition was organized to showcase advanced technologies and practical solutions designed to promote environmental sustainability and prevent desertification.
