Agency for Increasing Forests and Green Areas and Combating Desertification

The exercise was jointly organized by the Namangan Regional Department of Emergency Situations and the Pop Specialized State Forestry Enterprise. It involved 42 personnel and 7 specialized vehicles from the Department of Emergency Situations, 22 personnel and 7 vehicles from the State Emergency Prevention and Response System (FVDQT) services, forestry employees, as well as more than 50 local volunteers from nearby communities.

During the exercise, participants carried out practical operations to extinguish a simulated forest fire, improve forestry workers' skills in using primary firefighting equipment, ensure the rapid response of emergency units, contain the spread of fire, and effectively coordinate personnel and resources.

In addition, the readiness of rescue services and partner organizations to respond to emergency situations was tested once again. The exercise helped strengthen practical skills in suppressing potential forest fires, conducting rescue operations, ensuring the proper actions of employees during emergencies, and complying with fire safety and occupational safety regulations.
