A seminar on preventing conflicts of interest was held in Navoi

In order to ensure the implementation of the Presidential resolution dated June 5, 2024, “On measures to effectively organize the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On Conflict of Interest’,” a training seminar was organized at the Navoi specialized state forestry enterprise focused on nursery production.
The event was attended by specialists of the enterprise and representatives of law enforcement agencies. During the seminar, special attention was paid to preventing conflicts between employees’ personal interests and their official duties in state organizations, ensuring transparency and fairness, and eliminating situations of conflict of interest.
Participants were also provided with information on the concept and types of conflicts of interest defined by law, as well as the powers of ethics commissions and state bodies.
It should be noted that similar seminars dedicated to this topic are planned to be held in all regional base state forestry enterprises across the republic.
