Agency for Increasing Forests and Green Areas and Combating Desertification

The event was attended by the Hokim of Uzun District, Khabibulla Bozorov, as well as responsible officials from territorial state forestry enterprises of Surkhandarya region. During the meeting, pressing issues related to the protection of the forest fund, expansion of green areas, establishment and restoration of forests, and further improvement of the sector’s activities were discussed.

In addition, the problems, proposals, and initiatives expressed by the foresters were listened to, and relevant instructions were given for their step-by-step resolution. Special attention was paid to strengthening cooperation among responsible authorities and increasing practical effectiveness.

At the end of the event, a group of active employees who have been working effectively in the forestry sector were duly encouraged by the Director of the Agency.
