In particular, the following measures are envisaged:

— introduction of automatic sampling systems from pollution sources at high environmental risk facilities (Category I) up to 50 percent;
— planting 200 million trees annually and establishing a maintenance and irrigation system for each planted tree;
— increasing the number of green parks across the country to 1,023;
— expanding green areas nationwide, including in cities, to 30 percent;
— increasing forest areas to 6.1 million hectares;
— expanding total green areas in the Aral Sea region to 2.6 million hectares;
— reclamation of 6,075 hectares of land damaged as a result of mineral extraction;
— providing 85 percent of the population with solid household waste collection and removal services at the mahalla level;
— increasing the share of waste recycled to produce alternative energy to 20 percent;
— reducing the number of solid waste landfills by at least 50 percent;
— introducing 13 eco-industrial zones specialized in household waste recycling;
— implementing measures to modernize polluting technologies at 686 economic entities of Categories I and II, ensuring 100 percent modernization.
