Agency for Increasing Forests and Green Areas and Combating Desertification

During the seminar, project team members D. Aralova, Z. Mamadaliyeva, and S. Amanbayeva delivered presentations on effective project organization and the systematic implementation of activities.

In addition, the essence and significance of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 140 dated March 27, 2024, titled “On measures to implement the project ‘Restoration of Sustainable Forest Landscapes in Uzbekistan’ with the participation of the International Development Association,” were explained in detail. Issues related to forest landscape restoration, efficient management of forest resources, and the consistent promotion of the “green economy” were discussed.

At the conclusion of the seminar, instructions were given to ensure effective implementation of project activities without causing harm to the local population and entrepreneurs operating around forest management areas.
