Another 16 thousand seedlings have been allocated to commercial bank areas and waste disposal sites.
Along with this, about 94 thousand seedlings are being planted to establish new mulberry plantations in the district.
Today, a tree-planting event was organized in the Mingchinor area of the Shofirkon district. A 20-hectare area under the management of the district branch of the State Forestry Agency has been allocated for greening, with a plan to plant 17 thousand seedlings there.
During the event, 3.5 hectares of land were cleared and prepared, and 2 thousand tree seedlings were planted.
The event in Mingchinor saw active participation from the district governor Alisher Fayzilloyev, district prosecutor Shamshod Mamarizayev, district police chief Rustam Yusupov, head of the tax inspection Otabek Muqimov, leaders of banks and major enterprises, forestry specialists, and nearly 200 citizens. Around 10 units of special machinery were involved to ensure efficient organization of the greening activities.
