“Acta Climate” specialists announced that they have begun the initial assessment and study for implementing an afforestation project in Uzbekistan. The project includes restoring degraded lands, long-term carbon sequestration, and certification under the international Verra / VCS standard.
The experts emphasized the importance of providing precise environmental, climatic, soil, and logistical data specifically for individual forestry enterprises in Uzbekistan. It was noted that the information should be presented not at the regional or district level, but at the level of specific forest enterprises.
