AN APPEAL TO THE PARENTS OF UCHTEPA DISTRICT
2026-06-10 09:30:00 / Statements and speeches of administration

Unfortunately, various negative trends among young people are becoming increasingly common, including juvenile delinquency, harmful habits, interest in inappropriate and misleading information, and unproductive use of time. This is a matter of concern for all of us.
The future of every child depends primarily on the attention, guidance, and supervision provided by parents. Being indifferent to where your child spends time, who they communicate with, what interests them, and what content they follow on social media can lead to serious consequences.
We should never forget that the upbringing given to a child shapes not only their own future but also the future of society as a whole. Many negative situations can be prevented by communicating more with children, listening to their opinions, paying attention to their concerns, and helping them spend their free time in a meaningful and productive way.
Therefore, we call on all parents to pay special attention to the following:
- being a positive role model for their children;
- monitoring their free time and encouraging them to engage in beneficial activities;
- ensuring the proper and responsible use of the internet and social media;
- maintaining close cooperation with schools, mahalla communities, and the wider public.
Raising our children to become healthy, well-mannered, educated, and patriotic individuals is a shared responsibility for all of us.
Let us protect our future through care rather than indifference; through understanding rather than criticism; and through proper guidance rather than mere prohibition.
Bunyod Mamadjanov
Governor (Hokim) of Uchtepa District
