In particular, systematic monitoring is being conducted regarding the implementation of the provisions set forth in the Presidential Resolutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ–81 dated January 12, 2022, and No. PQ–240 dated May 11, 2022, as well as the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 595 dated October 14, 2022. Special attention is being paid to preventing corruption risks and ensuring openness and transparency in the activities of state institutions.

One such monitoring visit was conducted at the Uchtepa District Electricity Networks Enterprise. The Chairman of the Permanent Commission, Abdurashid Abdurahimovich Abdushukurov, thoroughly reviewed issues related to preventing corruption within the electricity supply system, handling citizens’ appeals, ensuring transparency in service delivery, and improving the effectiveness of public engagement.

During the study, the commission analyzed the practices of processing citizens’ appeals, the conveniences created for consumers, measures aimed at reducing the human factor in service delivery processes, and efforts to eliminate conditions that may contribute to corruption.

Based on the findings, the Permanent Commission provided relevant recommendations and emphasized the need to further strengthen legality, transparency, and public oversight within the sector.

The Uchtepa District Council of People's Deputies will continue its consistent oversight activities aimed at combating corruption, ensuring transparency in the work of state bodies, and protecting the legitimate interests of citizens.
