“THE CLUB OF THE FUNNY AND CLEVER” COMPETITION HELD AS PART OF YOUTH MONTH
At the initiative of the Tashkent Regional Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent Regional Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, a “Club of the Funny and Clever” (KVN) competition was organized among students of higher educational institutions in the region as part of Youth Month and in celebration of June 30 – Youth Day. The participating teams competed for the Tashkent Region Cup.
The main objective of the competition was to enhance the social and spiritual knowledge of young people, support talented and proactive students, organize their leisure time in a meaningful way, and increase their participation in public life.
The event was opened by S. Fayzieva, Chairperson of the Tashkent Regional Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, who wished the participants success. She spoke about the projects implemented by trade unions to provide comprehensive support to young people and emphasized that this competition was one of such important initiatives.
During the competition, the teams demonstrated their skills in the categories “What’s Happening in Tashkent Region?”, “Question-and-Answer Session with the Jury,” and “Musical Performance.”
The performances were evaluated by a jury consisting of representatives of the culture and arts sector, trade union specialists, and public activists.
According to the final results, the “Parvoz” team from Chirchik State Pedagogical University won first place and became the holder of the Tashkent Region Cup. Second place was awarded to the “Yangi Yulduzlar” team from Tashkent State Agrarian University, while third place went to the “Amakivachchalar” team from Tashkent University of Economics and Pedagogy.
At the end of the event, the winners and recipients of special nominations were awarded diplomas, cash prizes, and commemorative gifts.
