Today, a prestigious delegation led by the Governor of the Turkistan Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nuralkhan Qusherov, paid a visit to the Tashkent Region. The delegation members were ceremonially welcomed at the “Navoiy” border customs post.
The guests were warmly received by the First Deputy Governor of the Tashkent Region, Otabek Tursunov, the Governor of Tashkent District, Sardor Ergashev, and other relevant officials.
In recent years, the relations of friendship, good neighborliness, and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have reached a new level, with cooperation across all sectors steadily developing.
In particular, the good-neighborly policy based on open and trustworthy dialogue between the leaders of the two countries is creating a solid foundation for expanding interregional ties, strengthening trade and economic relations, and implementing joint investment projects.
The delegation from the Turkistan Region includes prominent officials of the region, including district governors, heads of sectoral departments, and representatives responsible for special economic zones and tourism.
In addition, many entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan operating in the fields of agriculture, food industry, textile production, furniture manufacturing, mechanical engineering, construction materials, tourism, and services are also participating in the visit.
As part of the two-day visit, a major business forum aimed at further enhancing the economic and investment potential of the two regions, implementing new joint projects, and strengthening direct relations between business entities will be held.
The guests will also visit several cities and districts of the Tashkent Region to familiarize themselves with industrial enterprises, infrastructure projects, and other important facilities.
