Tashkent regional administration

At the initiative of the Regional Department of Preschool and School Education, another “Career Day” job fair was organized.

The event, held at the Nizami National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan, was attended by the head of the department, Shukur Burkhanov, several responsible staff members of the department, as well as heads of preschool and school education departments from all districts and cities, and representatives of general secondary schools and preschool educational institutions who presented available job vacancies in educational institutions.

Currently, 1,152 young people from Tashkent region are studying in various pedagogical fields at the Nizami National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan. Ensuring that they obtain достойные jobs in the future, apply their acquired knowledge and skills in practice, and enter the education system as qualified specialists is considered one of the important tasks of the Regional Department of Preschool and School Education.

During the “Career Day” job fair organized for this purpose, students were provided with detailed information about vacancies in general secondary schools and state preschool educational institutions across the region, working conditions, opportunities being created for teachers, and measures of social support.

As part of the event, direct meetings were organized between students and employers, and young specialists were offered vacancies corresponding to their interests and areas of specialization.

Encouragingly, by the end of the fair, employment contracts had been signed with nearly 150 students. They will begin their professional activities in the region’s educational institutions from the 2026–2027 academic year.
