More than 5,000 participants take part in a mass run in Termez

An upcoming stage of the “Silk Road Uzbekistan,” “Talaba Yugur,” and “Inson Uchun” mass running events was held in Termez to promote a healthy lifestyle among the population, encourage young people to engage in sports, and further develop mass sports.
The sporting event brought together more than 5,000 young sports enthusiasts, students, pupils, military personnel, and people with disabilities.
During the event, participants completed a 3-kilometer distance and reached the finish line with enthusiasm and high spirits.
The event was organized with the participation of the Surkhandarya Regional Sports Department, the Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan, higher education institutions, and a number of partner organizations.
At the end of the competition, participants who achieved strong results and demonstrated active involvement were presented with diplomas, medals, and commemorative gifts by the organizing committee.
