Practical dialogue aimed at further expanding trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, establishing direct cooperation between entrepreneurs, and increasing export volumes is continuing in Termez.
Today, events marking the first day of the Uzbekistan–Afghanistan Light Industry Products Exhibition were held in the free trade zone of the Termez International Trade Center.
Representatives of more than 90 companies from Uzbekistan and over 60 companies from Afghanistan took part in the event, showcasing textiles, knitwear, ready-made garments, leather and footwear products, carpets, and other light industry goods.
As part of the exhibition, B2B meetings, business dialogues, and bilateral negotiations were organized between entrepreneurs. The discussions focused on finding new trade partners, concluding export contracts, establishing production cooperation, and expanding existing business ties.
In particular, new opportunities are being created for Uzbek manufacturers to enter the Afghan market, establish direct contacts with new buyers, and increase their export potential.
The exhibition in Termez is giving practical impetus to Uzbekistan–Afghanistan trade and economic cooperation and serving as an important platform for establishing new business ties between entrepreneurs from the two countries.
