High-Quality Beef Supplies from Belarus to Surkhandarya to Be Launched

As previously reported, a delegation from Surkhandarya Region, headed by Regional Governor Ulugbek Kosimov, is continuing its visit to the Republic of Belarus.
As part of the visit programme, important agreements were reached during the Governor’s meeting with the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus on supplying high-quality beef to Surkhandarya Region and establishing modern cooperation in the livestock sector.
Within the framework of these agreements, entrepreneurs from Surkhandarya Region have established and registered four enterprises operating in the livestock sector.
Recently, as part of the implementation of these agreements, entrepreneurs from the region visited one of the livestock complexes in Minsk Region. They received a detailed overview of the processes involved in cattle slaughtering, meat processing, preparation for export, storage and logistics.
They also studied the product shipment process, compliance with sanitary and hygiene requirements, and the quality control system.
Going forward, a system will be established for supplying Surkhandarya Region with high-quality beef that meets established veterinary and sanitary requirements and is prepared in accordance with “Halal” standards.
