Surkhandarya regional administration

An information tour across Surkhandarya was organized for leading tour operators from Bukhara Region with the aim of promoting the region’s tourism potential, developing interregional cooperation, and creating new tourist routes.

During the visit, the guests explored historical and cultural heritage sites, ancient pilgrimage sites, natural and ecotourism destinations, as well as the region’s tourism infrastructure. They were also provided with detailed information about existing tourist routes, tourism opportunities, and promising destinations in Surkhandarya.

As part of the information tour, a meeting was held between tour operators from Bukhara and Surkhandarya. The participants discussed the development of joint tour packages, mutual promotion of tourism products, and ways to increase tourist flows between the two regions.

Following the meetings, proposals were put forward to launch new tourist routes, expand practical cooperation between the two regions, and increase the number of tourists traveling from Bukhara to Surkhandarya.

The information tour will contribute to the mutual promotion of the regions’ tourism opportunities, strengthening cooperation among tour operators, and further expanding domestic tourism routes.
