Surkhandarya regional administration

Efforts are continuing in Surkhandarya Region to promote youth employment, support entrepreneurial initiatives, and provide targeted solutions to the challenges faced by young people.

A working group led by Qahramon Quronboyev, Chair of the Republican Commission for Coordinating Youth Affairs, visited Termez and Jarqo‘rg‘on districts, where meetings were held with young people and local residents.

▪️ In the "Qahramon" neighborhood of Termez District, the activities of 35 young people who received land plots under Resolution No. 153 and aim to generate income through second-crop cultivation were reviewed.

▪️ The delegation also visited the greenhouse, nursery, and floriculture operations of experienced farmer Boboyor Xolboyev. Officials were assigned specific tasks to promote his experience among local youth, provide training in these fields, and ensure their sustainable employment.

▪️ An open dialogue with local residents was held in the "Madaniyat" neighborhood of Jarqo‘rg‘on District, where citizens' concerns and proposals were heard.

▪️ More than 200 young people participated in an open dialogue held at the Palace of Arts in Termez City. Discussions focused on youth employment, expanding access to education, developing entrepreneurship, vocational training, foreign language learning, and the effective use of preferential loans.

During the meetings, a number of issues raised by young participants were resolved on the spot. Matters requiring further review were assigned to the responsible authorities, and their implementation was placed under close supervision.
