On July 16 of this year, an open dialogue and mobile public reception with entrepreneurs was held in Surkhandarya Region. The event was attended by Ilzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Abdumannop Buriyev, the Commissioner under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the Protection of the Rights and Legitimate Interests of Business Entities; and Sherali Jo‘rayev, Deputy Governor of Surkhandarya Region.
More than 100 entrepreneurs from across the region participated in the meeting, presenting their proposals and concerns on attracting foreign investors, visa processing, banking and tax issues, electricity and natural gas supply, allocation of land for business activities, and other pressing matters.
During the event, each appeal was thoroughly reviewed with the participation of the responsible officials. As a result, more than 35 issues raised by business entities that could be resolved at the district, regional, or national level were successfully addressed on the spot.
Appeals requiring additional review, legal assessment, or organizational measures were forwarded to the relevant ministries and agencies in accordance with established procedures. Specific instructions were given to the responsible officials, and the implementation of these tasks was placed under continuous monitoring.
Such open dialogues help promptly resolve the challenges faced by entrepreneurs, ensure reliable protection of their legal rights and interests, and contribute to creating an even more favorable investment and business environment in the region.
