Surkhandarya regional administration

Efforts to promote Surkhandarya's rich historical and cultural heritage and tourism opportunities at the international level, as well as to increase the flow of foreign tourists, are being consistently continued.

For this purpose, a delegation consisting of representatives of leading Japanese tour operators has visited Surkhandarya Region.

The guests were welcomed by officials of the regional administration and the Department of Tourism, who are introducing them to the region's historical and cultural heritage sites and tourism potential.

The delegation members visited the Al-Hakim at-Termizi Complex, the archaeological monuments of Fayaztepa and Karatepa, as well as the Zurmala Stupa, where they received information about the historical significance and tourism potential of these sites.

During their three-day visit, the Japanese specialists will also explore the famous tourist attractions of Denov, Sariosiyo, and Boysun districts and study the region's unique tourism opportunities.
