At the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum, the Surkhandarya regional delegation held negotiations with 16 foreign companies

The plenary session of the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum was held the day before. The prestigious event brought together around 4,000 foreign guests from more than 100 countries, including representatives of international financial institutions, major banks, companies, and organizations.
In particular, the Surkhandarya regional delegation headed by regional governor Ulugbek Kosimov actively participated in the forum and held negotiations with 16 foreign companies as well as with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Uzbekistan.
During the talks, prospects for expanding investment cooperation were discussed with companies such as “Asian Chemical Group” (UAE), “Zelantex” (Turkey), “A2B Logistics” and “Salis Business Solutions” (Saudi Arabia), “Bernard Grinspan” and “Tomer Pinkusiewicz” (France), “Masaka Suites” (India), “Daqing Deep Aureus International Energy Development Co., Ltd.”, “Shaanxi Zhen’an Shenghui Mining Co., Ltd.”, “WO DA SHI YE”, “Jinchuan Group”, “China Railway Construction Corporation Limited” (China), “Niagara A” (Tajikistan), “Etimad Akhundzada Mines Extraction & Processing Company” (Afghanistan), “Korea Solutions” (Republic of Korea), “Jordan Phosphate Mines Co. PLC” (Jordan), and “Askania Bildung” (Germany).
The investment potential of Surkhandarya region, its resource base, transport and logistics opportunities, and the development of export-oriented projects were also discussed in detail.
The meetings were held in a spirit of mutual interest and constructive dialogue. Foreign partners expressed their interest in implementing new investment projects in Surkhandarya region, expanding ongoing initiatives, and developing long-term partnership relations.
