The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from KfW toward the cost of the Modernization of Medical Multi-Profile Centres of the Regions (Phase I&II) [BMZ No 2009 67 026 / 2011 65 943; BMZ No 2009 70 350 / 2011 70 133] [BMZ No 2013 65 907 / 2013 70 097, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for: Design and Build of the Hybrid Solar Power System for the Laboratory and Surgery Buildings of the TB Hospital in Samarkand.

The contract duration will be 18 months, of which 6 months for the Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning period and 12 months for the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
Bidding will be conducted by means of the National Competitive Bidding procedure with qualification as specified in the KfW Guidelines for Guidelines for Procurement of Goods, Works and associated Services in Financial Cooperation with Partner Countries (“KfW Guidelines”).

Bidders shall meet the defined eligibility and qualification criteria in Section III Qualification and Evaluation Criteria, 1. Evaluation of Eligibility and Qualification, including, but not limited to the following criteria:
- Experience in Hybrid Solar PV Projects: Bidders must have successfully and substantially completed at least one (1) Hybrid Solar PV project (off-grid or on-grid) within the last five (5) years. The project must have had a installed capacity of at least 100kWp and must have been satisfactorily completed before the bid submission deadline.
- Average Annual Construction Turnover: Bidders must have a minimum annual turnover of 300,000 EUR over the last five (5) years, with the best three (3) years considered for compliance with this requirement.
Bids must be delivered to the address indicated in the clause ITB 22.1 of the bidding documents on or before Monday, 14 July 2025, 10:30 AM (Tashkent time).
Late Bids will be rejected.
Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security.
