In Uzbekistan, children are vaccinated against the following diseases in accordance with the National Immunization Schedule:

• Within the first 24 hours of life — HepB-1: against viral hepatitis B.
• At 2–5 days of age — BCG-1: against tuberculosis.
• At 2 months — OPV-1, Rota-1, PCV-1 and Penta-1. These vaccines provide protection against poliomyelitis, rotavirus infection, pneumococcal infection, as well as diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, hepatitis B and Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) infection.
• At 3 months — OPV-2, Rota-2, PCV-2 and Penta-2: the subsequent doses of the respective vaccines.
• At 4 months — OPV-3, Rota-3, Penta-3 and IPV-1. Both OPV and IPV are vaccines against poliomyelitis.
• At 9 months — IPV-2: the subsequent dose of the polio vaccine.
• At 12 months — MMR-1 and PCV-3: against measles, mumps, rubella and pneumococcal infection.
• At 16 months — DTP-4 and OPV-4: against diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus and poliomyelitis.
• At 6 years — MMR-2: against measles, mumps and rubella.
• At 7 years — Td-5 and OPV-5: against diphtheria, tetanus and poliomyelitis.
• At 9 years — HPV: against human papillomavirus.
• At 16 years — Td-6: against diphtheria and tetanus.

Note: Penta, included in the schedule at 2, 3 and 4 months of age, is a single combined vaccine containing DTP, hepatitis B and Hib components. OPV and Rota vaccines are administered orally, while the other vaccines are administered by injection in accordance with the relevant instructions for use. The exact dose and injection site are determined by a healthcare professional based on the instructions for the vaccine being used.

Taking into account the epidemiological situation in the country, additional vaccinations may be introduced. For example, vaccination against measles is currently also being carried out at 6 months of age.
