A presentation has been held on the topic of a poverty-free region, “Kushrabot is ready” at the meeting of the Senate Council of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Uzbekistan today.

The head of our region, who participated in the videoconference meeting, presented a report-presentation on the work carried out in the Kushrabot district in 2024. It was reported that a total of 4,809 poor families were listed in the unified social protection register in the district, divided into strata, and individual plans were developed to lift them out of poverty last year. At the same time, it is reported that permanent employment was provided to 1,750 people from the register. The regional investment program in the Kushrabot district in 2024 has a total value of 24.9 million 42 projects worth US dollars have been implemented, creating 80 new jobs. In 2025, 907 new jobs can be created by implementing another 56 projects. In 2024, the entrepreneurship program allocated 35.1 billion soums of credit funds to 2,339 projects. This year, more than 45.0 billion soums of loans were received for the main entrepreneurship. The presentation also showed examples of the work carried out on specific and vocational training, guaranteed state medical care.
