Childhood and Early Dreams
Born in 1974 in the Rishton district of Fergana region, Muhsinxoja was eager to learn and interested in foreign languages from a young age. This passion broadened his worldview and set the course for his future.
Educational Journey — Across Continents
From 1991 to 1996, he studied at Tashkent State University of Economics. During his studies, he completed an internship at California State University, Chico (USA), which significantly expanded his understanding of international relations. Later, he went to Japan, earning his Master’s degree from Otaru University of Commerce and completing his Doctorate at Hokkaido University.
From Business to Diplomacy
His career has spanned various fields: management roles at Coca-Cola Uzbekistan LLC, major business experience at Japan’s MTRUST Co. Ltd, and serving as Deputy Hokim of Fergana region. This path equipped him with unique expertise in foreign economic relations and international cooperation.
Ambassadorial Mission
In July 2021, Muhsinxoja Abdurahmonov was appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Japan. His initiatives focus on increasing trade turnover, attracting investments, and boosting cultural exchanges. He is active not only in official negotiations but also in cultural events, working to strengthen Uzbekistan’s image in Japanese society.
Language — A Tool for Building Bridges
Fluent in Russian, Tajik, English, Japanese, and Arabic, Muhsinxoja strives to conduct each meeting in an atmosphere of sincerity — one of the key elements of diplomacy.
Another Historic Moment — First Ambassador to Fiji
Recently, Muhsinxoja Abdurahmonov took on another historic role: he became Uzbekistan’s first ambassador to Fiji. On August 7, 2025, he presented his credentials to the President of Fiji, Ratu Naykama Lalabalavu.
This position further highlights his extensive experience, communication skills, and strategic vision in diplomacy. He is now working actively not only in Japan but also across the Oceania region to enhance Uzbekistan’s standing.
Today, Muhsinxoja Abdurahmonov is recognized as an ambassador serving on the bridge of friendship between Uzbekistan and Japan, bringing the two nations closer together.
