Currently, a field meeting of the Council for Religious Affairs under the Committee for Religious Affairs is taking place in the city of Khiva.
Representatives of 16 religious confessions officially operating in our country are participating in the meeting.
Additionally, starting from this year, in addition to the members of the Council, representatives of the national parliament, various ministries and agencies, as well as organizations, are also participating as observers.
It is worth noting that this Council is a consultative body that coordinates the activities of all religious confessions operating in the republic. Its establishment and functioning are aimed at promoting interfaith dialogue and the joint resolution of any emerging issues and problems.
