2026-10-19 18:45:00 / ADDRESSES

The resolutions of our esteemed President—Resolution No. PQ-1, dated January 5, 2026, "On Additional Measures Aimed at Introducing an Integrated, Targeted System for Creating a Safe Environment in the Republic’s Neighborhoods (Mahallas)," and Resolution No. PQ-2, "On Organizational Measures to Further Enhance the Effectiveness of Early Crime Prevention in the Republic’s Neighborhoods (Mahallas) in 2026"—have defined specific tasks for each sector.
In the Paxtaobod district, a total of 249 crimes were committed during the first nine months of 2026, which translates to 115.6 crimes per 100,000 inhabitants. Of these, 149 were crimes that required detection/investigation, 89 were crimes that could have been prevented, and 11 were crimes committed in the sphere of information technology. Due to the fact that preventive measures were not organized effectively enough, there has been an increase in the following offenses: intentional homicide (by 2 cases), rape (by 2 cases), robbery (by 1 case), theft (by 9 cases), fatal traffic accidents (by 3 cases), hooliganism (by 1 case), and the intentional infliction of moderate bodily harm (by 9 cases).
No crimes involving armed robbery or the theft of motor vehicles were committed.
Furthermore, as a result of operational measures, 40 individuals who were evading investigative or judicial authorities—and were therefore on the wanted list—were apprehended.
Over the past nine months, the following cases were uncovered: 56 involving the illicit trafficking of narcotic or psychotropic substances, 18 related to extremism, 4 involving bribery, 6 related to the organization of gambling activities, 2 involving the illegal possession of weapons, 2 related to human trafficking, and 9 involving procuring (solicitation/pimping).
As of the end of the first nine months of 2026, the 61 *mahallas* (neighborhoods) in the district have been categorized as follows: 7 in the "red" category, 17 in the "yellow" category, and 37 in the "green" category. Furthermore, preventive operations codenamed "Tig‘" (Blade) are being consistently conducted within the district; these operations have resulted in the seizure of 204 bladed items.
To ensure a stable social and spiritual environment within families and to proactively prevent offenses, department personnel carried out 401 awareness-raising and outreach initiatives.
Prevention inspectors identified 8,883 individuals—either prone to committing offenses or at high risk of becoming victims—and registered them in the "E-Social Prevention" electronic information system. The "Mahalla Seven" (a local community-based support team) is currently carrying out preventive work to address these individuals' social issues. As a result of these efforts, the problems faced by 7,986 citizens were resolved; joint assessments were documented, and these individuals were subsequently removed from the social prevention registry.
During the elapsed period of 2026, protection orders were issued to 244 women to safeguard them against various forms of harassment and violence.
