Resolution No. 576 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated 19 October 2026, sets out measures for the phased introduction of a streamlined system for providing state pension award services to citizens.
Under the Resolution, during October–December 2026, the functions of the following district and city branches of the Pension Fund relating to the award and payment of pensions and other benefits will be transferred to the respective regional directorates on a pilot basis:
🔹 Andijan Region — the city of Andijan and Oltinko‘l District;
🔹 Samarkand Region — the city of Samarkand;
🔹 Khorezm Region — the cities of Urgench and Khiva, as well as Shovot and Yangiariq districts;
🔹 Syrdarya Region — district and city branches.
Each regional directorate will establish a three-member commission for every district or city, while staff responsible for directly serving citizens will operate at district and city branches.
Amendments have also been made to the Regulation on the Procedure for Awarding and Paying State Pensions. Under these amendments, the following services will be provided proactively, without requiring an application from the citizen:
➖ continuation of disability pension payments when a disability group is reassessed or its term is extended;
➖ recalculation of a pension when Group I disability status is established;
➖ continuation of survivor’s pension payments when the number of family members changes;
➖ award and payment of an additional allowance to citizens who reach the age of 100;
➖ continuation of pension payments when an ID card expires or is renewed before its expiry date.
The commission must adopt the relevant decision within ten days of receiving the application.
Within one month, the Pension Fund will establish the possibility of identity verification through the MyID information system when confirming the entitlement of pensioners residing outside Uzbekistan to receive pension payments.
