The practice of holding off-site court hearings is being expanded to promote openness and transparency in the judicial and legal system, make judicial services more accessible to citizens, and bring the courts closer to the public.
📍 One such hearing was held at the Jahonobod Mahalla building and was presided over by Dilshod Eshmatov, an investigative judge of the Pakhtachi District Criminal Court.
⚖️ During the open court hearing, administrative offence cases based on materials collected by prevention inspectors of the Pakhtachi District Department of Internal Affairs in the course of their inquiries were considered.
The circumstances of each administrative offence case were examined thoroughly, and the relevant decisions were issued. This practice contributes to preventing offences, improving citizens’ legal awareness, and reducing the risk of repeated violations.
📚 The substance and significance of the Presidential Decree were explained
Following the court hearing, Judge D. Eshmatov held an open dialogue with the participants and provided a detailed explanation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 14 August 2026, “On the ‘Justice 2030’ Strategy for Building a People-Centred and Fair Judicial System that Reliably Protects Human Rights in New Uzbekistan.”
During the dialogue, particular attention was paid to the reliable protection of human rights and freedoms, the restoration of violated rights, the administration of justice, and the strengthening of a people-centred approach within the judicial system.
⚖️ Protecting human rights and ensuring justice are priority objectives of the judicial and legal system.
