ADD COTTON TO YOUR CROP AND INCREASE YOUR CROP!
Joint
APPLICATION of the farmers of the Pakhtachi district and the Council of the Department of Agriculture
Dear farmers and agricultural workers!
Despite the natural difficulties of this year, you farmers and farmers are cultivating cotton on 7 thousand 333 hectares in the district, of which 2 thousand 420 hectares are cultivated using the Xinjiang method.
We all understand well that in the current extremely difficult climatic conditions, despite many trials and difficulties, especially since the second half of July this year is much hotter than usual, the time demands that you pay your wages to irrigators, mechanizers and field workers who do chekanka (picking) on time and organize agrotechnical measures in your cotton, including irrigation, cultivation and picking on time.
Our people see such selfless people in the person of you, diligent farmers and farmers, skilled watermen and irrigators, true masters of their craft, mechanizers and agronomists, enthusiastic scientists and researchers, cluster employees, and highly appreciate your honorable and noble work on the path to filling the table of the people and the country.
Of course, it is not easy to safely go through the processes from difficult weather conditions to the application of the most necessary agrotechnical measures.
Most importantly, the fruits of your honest hard work, which you did day and night, during the scorching heat of the last fifteen days of July and the first ten days of August this year, will be realized only when the crop ripens, is harvested on time, and is poured into the threshing floor, and most importantly, after the set plans are exceeded and achieved.
Only then will the farmer be at peace. For this, every farm manager should announce “Dolzarb – 20 days” in his cotton field starting today.
Dear farmers!
The importance of agrotechnical measures carried out in July-August is extremely important in increasing cotton yields. After all, the fabulous, high-quality and abundant harvest is measured by the results of labor in this month. After all, if cotton agrotechnical measures are carried out in accordance with the requirements, its development accelerates, bolls are added to the bolls, it ripens early, and the harvest is blessed.
The view that “cotton does not ripen” is wrong. In the conditions of the short growing season in Uzbekistan, its ripening should be managed based on a technological plan. Not green bolls, but ripe, opened and picked cotton is a real crop.
Based on the above, in order to obtain a high cotton yield in July-August, we, the farmers, will again need to implement agrotechnical measures and, feeling from the bottom of our hearts that you will receive additional income for each kilogram of cotton grown, let us implement the following measures more responsibly than ever!
Firstly, all farmers should be in the field, especially irrigators, mechanizers, and entomologists should take their work very seriously;
Secondly, for this, using the benefits provided by the head of our state, complete the payment of wages of 1 million 500 thousand soums to irrigators, 1 million soums to mechanizers, and 200 thousand soums per hectare to field workers who do scything (chilkish);
Thirdly, create the necessary conditions in your field, including organizing hot meals on a regular basis;
Fourth, irrigate the cotton once again using the juice method, create all the conditions for the waterers, establish night irrigation, and complete the irrigation work. In this case, use water correctly and rationally, do not over-irrigate, organize frequent irrigation with little water, take measures not to throw it into the ditch and do not allow excessive waste of water;
Fifth, strengthen protection against the attack of pests - bollworm, spider mite, alfalfa weevil, black aphid, widely apply integrated control measures;
Sixth, during the flowering and budding period of cotton, treat the leaves with yeast, aspirin, and microfertilizers containing boric acid, iron, and calcium, or feed through drip irrigation hoses;
In this case, use 250–300 g/ha of boric acid, 350–400 g/ha of yeast, 200–250 g/ha of aspirin, and the preparations “Sila kremniy” and “Aminosid-Silikon”.
These preparations are completely dissolved in water and, in the form of a solution, evenly sprinkled on the leaves during the cool hours of the day (after 19-00 in the evening, until 7-00 in the morning). Both boron deficiency and excess are harmful - do not exceed the norm;
seventh, apply additional treatment with biological stimulants to achieve early ripening of cotton even in fields with late cotton development and a bountiful harvest;
eighth, create conditions for cotton harvesting, especially on farms that plant foreign varieties
