The activities of arbitration courts will be further improved

The Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 1141 of April 21, 2026 introduced amendments and supplements to certain legislative acts.
According to the amendments to the Law “On Arbitration Courts”, it was determined that arbitration courts will not resolve disputes related to:
related to land;
determining ownership of buildings and structures;
recovering funds from the budget system and state bodies, organizations and institutions, enterprises with state participation, as well as from citizens' self-government bodies.
It was also stipulated that arbitration judges must undergo training courses based on a special program approved by the Ministry of Justice and constantly improve their knowledge and professional skills.
According to the amendments to the Code of Administrative Responsibility, the illegal organization of arbitration courts
will entail the imposition of a fine on officials in the amount of 5 to 10 times the minimum wage.
The fact that state bodies, organizations and institutions, enterprises with state participation, as well as citizens' self-government bodies are parties to the arbitration agreement, provided that there are no signs of a crime,
will entail the imposition of a fine on officials in the amount of 5 to 10 times the minimum wage.
